Guide For Adrenaline Junkies, Part II

Travel

When the road takes you to a country with a thousand islands, many sunny days and an opportunities to spend the same day in the mountains and on a beach, it is sweet torture to make an itinerary that will satisfy all your adrenaline cravings and needs. Luckily for you, we are bringing a few more ideas for all of you whose idea of a perfect vacation isn’t only sunbathing and taking your social media game to another level.

We are taking you to central Dalmatia, where some of the most famous music festivals take place, like the Ultra Music Festival, and where nature allows you to explore and live through some of the wildest and most exciting experiences of your life.

If there is a place in the world to challenge yourself, step out of your comfort zone, try things you never thought you would and aim for beating your fears while enjoying the most amazing views and having the time of your life – it is definitely Dalmatia.

And that is why you should Travel To Croatia.

Croatian Coast

Central Dalmatia, besides being home to Roman emperors and many famous merchants, writers, historical figures and other famous people and UNESCO heritage sites, is known for its hospitality and welcoming spirit of the locals. So, do not miss out an opportunity to sail around the islands in the archipelagos because once you step on the boat, we guarantee you won’t want to go back to the land. Hopping from Brač to Hvar, or Vis and Korčula, where the birth home of Marco Polo is, should be on your to-do list whenever you come to Croatia. Among many reasons why you should explore islands with the biggest number of sunny days in the country, is the nature itself – hidden beaches and caves, opportunities to go scuba diving, hiking and glamping make the perfect bohemian getaway in a culinary paradise.

If you are more the type whose perfect idea of an active vacation is overlooking the landscape from a mountain top, pack a tent, hiking boots and a camera because Biokovo mountain range will take your breath away. The second-highest mountain in Croatia and its nature park offers opportunities to escape the summer heats, enjoy the view of the archipelago from a birds perspective while you are sipping some homemade wine with your feet up. A bit smaller than Biokovo, but definitely not less breathtaking is Mount Mosor near Split.

While enjoying the view from the top of the mountain range sounds amazing, there is something that will enrich the experience even more – ziplining. Imagine flying through a canyon while looking at the infinite sapphire blue sea, islands in the distance and castles and towers on the hills around you. Free as a bird, heart beating like never before and screaming from the top of your lungs because you feel so alive. No matter if you are an adrenaline junkie or someone who just wants to try something new and different, put Omiš and Zipline Croatia on your map and make sure to stop by on your way through the central Dalmatia.

After an exciting day, take time to recap and savour the experience over homegrown, homemade and freshly caught and handpicked food in one of the many places owned by the locals. We are sure that sharing stories with them will only add to the charm of this little but thrilling country.
